Adventurer & Natural History Presenter
Steve's remarkable new series Lost Land of the Volcano, is currently transmitting on BBC1.
Steve has recently been a huge hit on BBC1's Lost Land of the Jaguar, for which he scaled a previously unexplored peak to search for new species in the jungles of Guyana.
His new series for CBBC Steve Backshall's Deadly 60 is now transmitting and he starts filming the second series in a few weeks.
Television Work
Steve is one of the busiest presenters on television, mainly working for the BBC’s Natural History Unit. He has his own season of programmes coming up on Eden television channel, alongside legends David Attenborough and Bruce Parry. Before that, he was ‘Adventurer in Residence’ at the National Geographic Channel.
