With a presence on mainstream and kid’s television, Steve has several prepared talks available for after-dinner, motivational and presentational speaking.
Talks for businesses focus around achieving goals on some of the hardest expeditions ever attempted; such as the first ever ascent of Mount Upuigma in Venezuela, where Steve and his team camped out on the vertical cliffaces of the peak, before finally summitting and going in search of new species. His talk will relate how expedition leaders must confront their fears, identify their weaknesses, learn to trust absolutely in those around them, and keep their heads while all around them are losing theirs. He also dips into the finer points of team dynamics and selecting a team. Steve’s presence in the media of television as a developer of ideas, producer, editor and director means he has a broad sweep of understanding not just of expeditions, but of the commercial world, and knows how to provide a talk that will be meaningful and tailored to your event. There is obviously an infinite amount of high quality film and photographic imagery to back up the talk.
Talks for younger audiences tend to be highly interactive, often with exotic animals brought along for the children to meet, and lengthy question and answer sessions. These talks also contain huge amounts of images and film footage.
